When the Road Ends, Keep Going.
Enfold Trail Boots by Tilting Heads are being developed for dogs who love exploring beyond the pavement. A wide-open entry, targeted toe and side protection, and deeper multi-directional grip bring trail-focused design to gravel, dry dirt, rocky paths and forest routes.
The Enfold open-and-wrap design lets the front and side panels open away from the paw. Place your dog’s paw inside, wrap the panels around it and adjust the wavy strap, making it easier to get ready at the trailhead. A broader paw area and flexible construction are intended to work with canine movement rather than feeling like a miniature human hiking boot.
Reinforcement is planned for the toe and sides, where paws can meet rocks and rough ground, while breathable mesh zones are designed to let the upper flex and encourage airflow. Deeper, multi-directional outsole lugs are intended to support traction while climbing, braking and moving across loose terrain.
Why Enfold Trail Boots?
- Wide-Open Enfold Entry: Front and side panels open away from the paw for easier place-and-wrap fitting.
- Reinforced Toe Bumper: A planned front protection zone addresses rock contact, scraping and toe drag.
- Lateral Abrasion Guards: Targeted side reinforcement is designed to protect exposed paw edges without covering the whole upper.
- Multi-Directional Trail Grip: Deeper lugs are intended to provide traction on gravel, dirt and uneven ground.
- Breathable Trail Mesh: Open zones are designed to encourage airflow and keep the upper flexible.
- Reinforced Wavy Strap: A hook-and-loop closure is designed to adjust around the ankle for active outings.
Made for the Trail Beyond the Pavement
From weekend hikes and camping to rocky paths and forest walks, Enfold Trail is being designed for active dogs who need more coverage than an everyday city shoe. It is not intended as the primary choice for deep snow, ice or repeated puddle immersion.
Concept visualization: Enfold Trail is not a final production sample. Materials, construction, sizing and performance details are subject to supplier sampling and wear and wash testing. Waterproof performance has not been confirmed; final product details may vary.

The front and side panels open away from your dog’s paw. Place the paw inside, wrap the panels around it and adjust the strap. This Enfold-style opening is designed to make fitting easier before heading out.
The concept places a reinforced bumper at the toe and abrasion guards along the sides, targeting areas that may meet rocks, scraping or toe drag without covering the entire upper in a heavy shell.
Deeper, multi-directional lugs are planned to support traction on loose and uneven ground during climbing, braking and sideways movement. Actual grip will need to be confirmed through product testing.
Breathable mesh zones are part of the design intent to encourage airflow and let the upper flex. Final materials and comfort will depend on the production sample and wear testing.
The concept uses a reinforced wavy strap with a hook-and-loop fastening so the closure can be adjusted around the ankle. The final strap construction will be confirmed after supplier sampling.
They are not intended as the primary choice for deep snow, ice or repeated puddle immersion. Waterproof performance has not been confirmed, so avoid prolonged immersion.
